Summer Cool Decor and Storage

As we approach warmer temps this summer, all the winter blankets are tucked away and the lighter linens are brought out.

A great way to store winter large quilts and comforters is with the collapseable bags, that you can vacuum all the air out. Storage is made easy with these, they collapse flat and you are able to store more than just one or two in a small space.

These bags save on space, so you may be able to tuck your quilts and such under your bed. Remember its air tight so no bugs will be in there. You may want to fold a "Bounce" dryer sheet with your quilts for a nice smell when you open your bag in the fall.

When you bring out your lighter linens you may want to add cotton or light pillows to your bedding. These are great to prop yourself up with while reading and are cooler than the heavier ones.

Another idea for summer is...get some shear drapes and hang them over your heavier curtains. When you what fresh air open your heavier drapes and let the shears distort views, so others cannot make out whats in your room and let the fresh air in!
